Inspired by the act of blowing bubbles, these tumblers evoke nostalgic memories of those carefree summer days of childhood. The excitement of blowing the biggest bubble ever, the intrigue of watching clusters form into different shapes and patterns, the joy of blowing as many bubbles as possible and the thrill of running after them – these are all sentiments that inspired Alexis Doiron’s Bubble Series.
Great for for serving beverages, desserts and snacks, or fantastic as a small plant pot or trinket dish. Of course – you can also simply enjoy these bubble tumblers as ornaments. They are beautiful displayed in small clusters!
All tumblers are individually thrown and trimmed on the potter’s wheel, thus producing “bubbles” of various shapes and sizes. Layers of pastel-coloured applied and overlapped for colour variety and texture.
As each piece is handcrafted, no two tumblers are alike. Please email us to choose from a selection of available colours; in not, we will select one of our favourites for you!

Bubble Tumbler
From the throwing and altering of forms to the development and mixing of signature glazes and colours, Alexis' work is all handmade.
First, she applies a shiny transparent and an opaque satin glaze as a base. Then, selecting from ten or more different pigments, she proceeds to skillfully layer colours a seemingly endless coalescence of colours. The result is a harmonious, texture-like effect on the surface. Each piece is original in and of itself but a part of a cohesive style. Mix-and-match to create your own individualized collection.
